Our NFC Keyfob Epoxy impresses with its high quality appearance, but has also enough memory capacity for various applications. Whether it is used on trade fairs, as give-away or for personal usage – the NFC Keyfob always makes a lasting impression. Due to its high memory capacity it can be used for example as a digital business card, for recording of working times, controlling access or changing smartphone properties. As the keyfob has an epoxy layer, it is both robust and waterproof and the built-in NTAG 216 chipset sustains temperatures between -25 °C and 70 °C. The chipset of this keyfob functions well with all common NFC-enabled smartphones.
The NFC Keyfob is made of PVC and has an additional epoxy layer. Due to these materials, it is very robust and fully waterproof. The keyfob has a diameter of 30 mm and a thickness of 4 mm overall. Additionally, the keyfob has a rubber band, so it can be attached at a key ring. The NFC microchip is integrated inside the product.
Features & functions
The keyfob contains the NTAG 216, which has a memory capacity of 924 byte (NDEF: 868 byte) and can be encoded up to 100,000 times. This chip comes along with the UID ASCII Mirror Feature, which allows to attach the UID of the chip to the NDEF message. Additionally, the chip contains a NFC counter, which counts the times a NFC tag is read. Both functions are deactivated by default. Further information about this chip and other NFC chip types you can find here. We also provide you with a download of the technical documentation by NXP.
These are a few examples for possible applications of the keyfob.
